The first performance takes place at the millenniumfestival in rock paradise Paradiso [Amsterdam, 2000] and is at the same time the start of Snowcrash' music adventure with her eclectic mix of hardcore, minimal, electro, disco, breakbeats and experimental. Artists from Hongkong, Tokyo, Seattle, Berlin, Strasbourg and Prague perform live via internet. The singers, rappers and musicians tune in on Snowcrash' beats and soundsystem. On several screens the audience can overlook this taut mix of music and live images. Guest players join in on stage.

           Snowcrash searches the boundaries of possibilities on the area of internationale interactieve stage shows and crosses them. Gitarists from Seattle and Hongkong are challenged to a gitar duel on Snowbeats. [International Film Festival Rotterdam, 2001]

           Snowcrash is being exhibited as a work of art on 'This is America'. [VJ Launch#8 Museum of Contemporary Art - Utrecht, 2006]12 Screens show VJ's from Hongkong, Strassbourg, and Berlin, ventilating strong criticism on American politics tautly mixed on heavy Snowbeats, supported by live singing.

           A singer in Hongkong and a singer in Praque resembles to a fascinating duet, directed by Snowcrash. The spectators in the main hall can witness this interaction on screens arranged like a cube, exchanged with VJ images. [Off Corso Theater - International Film Festival Rotterdam, 2004]

           Two rappers in a wild houseparty in Berlin break in on een Snowcrash show in Rotterdam and start to rap on Snow grooves. Within the club circuit this is the first double performance through internet.

           In the center of a famous square in Amsterdam, 'Nieuwmarkt', a girl starts singing. A few innocent bystanders don't know that this singer is being broadcast directly to a hall in Utrecht. Close to the singer stands a carrier bike, hardly noticable, with Snowcrash equipment and crew, who takes care of the broadcast connection with the hall in Utrecht. [VJ Launch#6 - Ekko Utrecht, 2006] The bystanders watch her singing without any audience oer background music, but to the audience in Utrecht her song matches the beat and performance perfectly and she takes the show away.

           The most border crossing act of Snowcrash is the so called dressing room breakdown in the Melkweg in Amsterdam. After performing, a camera follows Snowcrash to their dressing room. These camera images are being shown on big screens in the main hall. The audience and organization witnesses how Snowcrash tears the dressing room completely apart. Everybody looks horrified at the images, but what they don't know is that they actually are looking at a prefabricated recording of a fake dressing room being destroyed. The commotion afterwards was so big that it took the Snowcrash members 5 hours to convince the organisation that everything was being staged and if they maybe can get their confiscated equipment back.

           Whether it's about festivals or clubs like De Balie [Centre for culture and politics - Amsterdam], The Spontaan Festival [NDSM - Amsterdam], Trax and Traces Festival [Paradiso - Amsterdam], Festival of Dutch Songs [Paradiso - Amsterdam], Hongkong City Festival [Hongkong], Club Bitterzoet and The Sugarfactory and Club Nl in Amsterdam, Snowcrash crosses boarders, breaks down barriers and shows how exciting a live performance from different sights put together can be. The world outside steps inside.

           Snowcrash exists through the cooperation of artists, musicians, photografers, Vj's, stylists and people in the film and media industry.

           Lately Snowcrash's main occupation is the development of new music and new performance techniques.

           A taste of this was recently demonstrated at the Amsterdam Dance Event 2009 during 'Share' in the Sugarfactory. Mechanical toys from the seventies, mixed with live VJ material, shows an unexpected Snowcrash universe.
